MABELLINI PODIUM KEEPS LANCIA CORSE HF IN FIA ERC TITLE FIGHT
MABELLINI AND LENZI FINISH THIRD AT BARUM CZECH RALLY ZLIN AS LANCIA CORSE HF MAINTAINS FOUR CHAMPIONSHIP BIDS
Lancia Corse HF left Barum Czech Rally Zlin with a podium finish and its FIA European Rally Championship ambitions intact. Andrea Mabellini and Virginia Lenzi finished third overall with the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale after winning the Power Stage.
The result keeps Mabellini second in the FIA ERC Drivers' Championship, 25 points behind leader Teemu Suninen, while extending his advantage over Miko Marczyk.
MABELLINI DELIVERS ON THE POWER STAGE
Mabellini and Lenzi entered the penultimate stage in fourth overall before producing a decisive performance on the Power Stage.
The Italian crew won the final stage and gained the time required to move into third place overall, securing a podium for the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale.
The result also maintains Mabellini's position in the FIA ERC title fight with two rounds remaining.

CHALLENGING RALLY FOR LANCIA CORSE HF
Barum Czech Rally Zlin proved difficult for several Lancia Corse HF crews.
Davide Pesavento and Alessio Angeli retired after contact on SS2. Their rally ended after arriving in Czechia leading both the Junior ERC and ERC4 standings.
Technical problems subsequently ended the rallies of Tommaso Sandrin and Andrea Dal Maso on SS9, and Sebastian Dallapiccola and Samuele Pellegrino on SS8.
Despite the retirements, Francesco Dei Ceci and Christian Vizzaccaro delivered a positive ERC4 result, finishing fifth with the Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 HF.
FOUR CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHTS REMAIN OPEN
With two rounds remaining, Lancia Corse HF remains involved in the FIA ERC Drivers' and Teams' Championship battles, as well as the ERC4 and Junior ERC title fights.
Mabellini's podium provides the team with a strong result from one of the most demanding rallies of the season, while the final two events in the United Kingdom and Portugal will decide the championship outcomes.
