PIRELLI DOUBLE PODIUM AT BARUM RALLY AS SUNINEN TAKES SECOND AND MABELLINI THIRD
SUNINEN FINISHES SECOND AND MABELLINI WINS THE POWER STAGE AS PIRELLI SECURES TWO PODIUM PLACES IN ZLIN
Pirelli secured a double podium at the Barum Czech Rally Zlin, round five of the 2026 FIA European Rally Championship, with Teemu Suninen finishing second and Andrea Mabellini taking third place.
Suninen drove his Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 to the runner-up position after maintaining his attack throughout the final day. The result further strengthened his position at the front of the ERC drivers' standings.
MABELLINI WINS THE POWER STAGE
Andrea Mabellini produced the strongest finish of the Pirelli runners. After opening the rally with victory on the Zlin city super special stage, the Italian ended the event by winning the Power Stage.
The Power Stage result allowed Mabellini to close the gap to his direct rival in the championship fight while securing third overall with the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale.
The combined results of Suninen and Mabellini also strengthened Pirelli's position in the ERC tyre suppliers' classification.
PIRELLI HIGHLIGHTS TYRE PERFORMANCE
The Barum Czech Rally Zlin provided a demanding test for tyres and cars, with 13 special stages covering more than 200 competitive kilometres in unusually high temperatures.
Pirelli selected its hard compound as the primary tyre option for the weekend and reported consistent performance through the final stage.

Pirelli Rally Activity Manager Terenzio Testoni said the results demonstrated the competitiveness and reliability of the tyre package throughout the event.
VATANEN WINS ERC FIESTA RALLY3 TROPHY
The Barum Czech Rally Zlin also decided the Pirelli-supported ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy.
Ville Vatanen secured the Trophy title after also winning the Trophy classification at the Zlin event.
