MABELLINI AND LENZI CHALLENGE FOR THE FIA ERC LEAD AS LANCIA DEFENDS ITS JUNIOR ERC AND ERC4 POSITIONS
Lancia Corse HF enters the decisive phase of the 2026 FIA European Rally Championship season at Barum Czech Rally Zlín 2026, with championship ambitions across both the Rally2 and Rally4 categories.
The Czech asphalt event, the fifth round of the season, features 205.79 competitive kilometres across 13 special stages. The rally begins on Friday, 14 August, with the 9.57-kilometre Zlín night stage before continuing through Saturday and Sunday.
• Andrea Mabellini and Virginia Lenzi are just 23 points from the FIA ERC drivers' championship lead.

MABELLINI CLOSE TO THE FIA ERC LEAD
Andrea Mabellini and co-driver Virginia Lenzi arrive in Czechia with a clear opportunity to strengthen their championship challenge. The Italian crew is currently only 23 points behind FIA ERC leader Teemu Suninen.
Mabellini has recorded four stage wins during the season and returns to an event where he finished third last year. The Barum Czech Rally Zlín will be his fifth appearance in the rally.

PESAVENTO LEADS JUNIOR ERC AND ERC4
The Rally4 battle will also be central to Lancia Corse HF's campaign. Davide Pesavento and Alessio Angeli arrive as leaders of both Junior ERC and ERC4 following a victory at Rally di Roma Capitale and third-place finishes in Sweden and Poland.
Pesavento will contest Barum for the first time, while facing a particularly close ERC4 fight against fellow Lancia driver Tommaso Sandrin. Sandrin, partnered by Andrea Dal Maso, is only three points behind the championship leader.
DEI CECI RETURNS AFTER POLAND RESULT
Francesco Dei Ceci and Christian Vizzaccaro return to competition following their fifth-place ERC4 finish at Rally Poland. The ACI Team Italia crew will look to consolidate its position inside the Junior ERC top ten while continuing the progress shown during the season.
Sebastian Dallapiccola and Lorenzo Mattucci complete the four-car Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 HF line-up as they continue their first season of European-level competition.
BARUM CZECH RALLY ZLÍN SET FOR DECISIVE CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLES
With the FIA ERC championships entering a crucial phase, Barum Czech Rally Zlín 2026 represents an important test for Lancia Corse HF.
The event combines fast and technical Czech asphalt with expected high summer temperatures. Saturday's programme includes Pohořelice, Troják and Bunč, while Sunday's competition features Pindula, Semetín and Kateřinice before the rally reaches its conclusion.
Lancia arrives with championship contenders in the overall FIA ERC, Junior ERC and ERC4 standings, making the Czech event a key stage in its 2026 title campaign.
