NINE-TIME WORLD CHAMPION CRUISES TO WIN BY MORE THAN TWO MINUTES IN FRENCH CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND
Sébastien Loeb delivered a dominant performance at the 41st Rallye Vosges Grand-Est, securing a commanding victory in the fourth round of the 2026 French Rally Championship.
Competing in a Ford Fiesta WRC, the nine-time World Rally Champion controlled the event from start to finish on the challenging roads of the Vosges Mountains. Loeb completed the rally more than two minutes ahead of reigning French champion Yoann Bonato and co-driver Benjamin Boulloud, who finished second in their Lancia Ypsilon HF Rally2.
The rally featured 12 special stages covering 199.62 competitive kilometres across two days of action, with Loeb proving untouchable throughout the event.
Hugo Margaillan completed the overall podium, finishing just six seconds behind Bonato after a closely fought battle for second place.
The event attracted a strong field as one of the premier rounds of the French Rally Championship, with 69 crews classified across all categories.
In the RGT category, Raphaël Astier impressed by taking fourth place overall in his Porsche 992, while Florent Pueyo and Timothée Dinet secured top honours in the Rally4 category.
