Clio Rally3, Rally4, Rally5 and Rally6 Continue Strong Form in Multiple National Championships
Renault's Clio rally family enjoyed another highly successful weekend across Europe, with the Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4, Clio Rally5 and Clio Rally6 collecting victories and podium finishes in several national and regional rally championships.
The French manufacturer's customer racing programme was represented at events in Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Turkey, Greece, Portugal, Finland, Poland, Sweden and France, further strengthening the Clio's reputation as one of the most successful rally platforms currently competing across Europe.
In Spain, Miguel Gayoso and Carlos Guitián secured their second consecutive victory in the Clio Trophy Galicia at Rallye de Pontevedra, extending their early championship lead in the Clio Rally5 one-make series.
The Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 also topped their respective categories at Rallye Reino de León, with Jordi Nualart and Daniel Rivera winning in Rally4, while Julio Ramón Garcés and Ander García Garay led the Rally5 class.
Italy delivered another standout result for the Clio Rally3. Austrian crew Maximilian Lichtenegger and Bernhard Ettel claimed victory at Rally Due Valli by more than 90 seconds, earning their second win of the season. The Clio Rally5 meanwhile locked out the entire class podium.
Further success came in Lithuania, where Artur Długosz and Mateusz Martynek guided their Clio Rally3 to second place in the LARČ3 category at NEO Rally Žemaitija, moving into second place in the championship standings.
In Turkey, Ugur Kaban and Mert Kaya secured RC5 category victory at Yeşil Bursa Rally, while Renault crews also achieved podium finishes in both RC5 and the Women's classification.
The Clio Rally3 continued its impressive pace in Greece, where Panikos Polykarpou and George Votsis finished second overall and first in RC3 at the Nemeas Rally Sprint.
France produced another remarkable weekend for Renault customer teams. Clio Rally3, Rally4, Rally5 and Rally6 all claimed class victories at Rallye du Tréport, while multiple Clio models also triumphed at Rallye des Vins Mâcon and several regional rallies across the country.
Beyond the major championships, Clio Rally3 crews secured notable victories in Finland, Poland and Italy. One of the most significant results came at Finland's Pohjanmaa Rally, where Leevi Lassila and Hannu Lamminen claimed overall victory in a Clio Rally3.
Portugal also delivered strong results, with João Borges and Flávio Mota finishing second overall and first in RC3 at Rali Ilha Azul Cidade Mar in the Azores Championship.
The latest results underline the continued competitiveness of Renault's rally range across different surfaces, categories and levels of competition, from grassroots events to national championship battles.
