Miko Marczyk prepares to compete in the 2026 Rallye San Martino di Castrozza driving a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.

MORE THAN 110 CREWS ENTERED AS EUROPEAN CHAMPION MIKO MARCZYK JOINS THE FIELD

The 2026 Rallye San Martino di Castrozza is set for another busy edition after organisers confirmed a total of more than 110 entries across the modern and historic events.

San Martino Corse has expressed satisfaction with the strong response following its decision to run the event independently, supported by a prize fund of more than €35,000. The 46th Rallye Internazionale San Martino di Castrozza will count towards the Zone 4 Rally Cup and has attracted a competitive field featuring several leading contenders.

Among the main entries are the top three drivers currently occupying the overall Zone 4 standings: Federico Bottoni, Giovanni Costenaro and Alessandro Zanolli, all driving Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 cars.

Former winner Manuel Sossella, victorious in 2018, also returns alongside Giacomo Pasa, while record-holder Alessandro Battaglin will campaign a Hyundai i20 in pursuit of a strong result.

The most notable addition to the entry list is reigning European champion Miko Marczyk. The Polish driver will start in a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, bringing international attention to the event. Marczyk's participation comes as a surprise and adds further strength to the field.

“The most surprising entry is reigning European champion Miko Marczyk, who joins the Rallye San Martino di Castrozza field in a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.”

The event will be missing three-time winner Luca Pedersoli, who is absent due to injury. Pedersoli claimed consecutive victories at the rally from 2019 to 2021.

Alongside the modern rally, the 15th Historique Rallye San Martino features 19 crews and four previous winners. Giorgio Costenaro, Michael Stoschek, Lorenzo Delladio and Agostino Iccolti are all entered as they seek another historic rally success.

Additional interest comes from Bernardino Marsura, winner of the Benacus Rally in May, who returns to San Martino after his only previous appearance at the event in 1996.
