BLACK BEAR RALLY 2026 READY FOR ONTARIO PERFORMANCE RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP

TWENTY OPRC AND ECRC CREWS SET FOR EIGHT STAGES ON THE FAST ROADS OF CACTCHACOMA, ONTARIO

The Black Bear Rally 2026 returns on Saturday, 8 August, as crews prepare for the third round of the Ontario Performance Rally Championship (OPRC) and the fourth event of the Eastern Canadian Rally Championship (ECRC).

Organised by the Maple Leaf Rally Club, the event will take place in Cactchacoma, Ontario, featuring eight competitive stages across approximately 77 kilometres of special stages within a total route of around 100 kilometres.

Competitors will tackle the rally's signature Quarry and Loom Lake roads, known for being smooth, fast and twisting, offering drivers an enjoyable and demanding challenge.

The event has attracted 20 entries, with sponsorship from Jim Stevens CPA. Bruce Leonard serves as the event coordinator.

All rally activities will be based at the Cavendish Community Centre, which will host registration, technical inspection, service, refuelling, the ceremonial start and finish, as well as the finish podium. The official notice board will also be located at Rally Headquarters.
