VIRVES AND VIILO CLAIM THEIR THIRD CATEGORY WIN OF 2026 AS FIVE ŠKODA CREWS FINISH INSIDE THE WRC2 TOP 10

Robert Virves and Jakko Viilo secured their second home victory in WRC2 with a commanding category win at Rally Estonia.

Driving a Toksport WRT Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, the Estonian crew moved into the WRC2 lead on the second stage and remained in front through to the finish.

The Robert Virves WRC2 victory was their third win of the 2026 season, following earlier successes at Safari Rally Kenya and Acropolis Rally Greece. The result moved Virves and Viilo into second place in the WRC2 drivers’ and co-drivers’ championship standings.

“Virves and Viilo took the WRC2 lead on the second stage and maintained first place to secure their third category victory of the season.”

Škoda crews occupied five positions inside the WRC2 top 10 at the ninth round of the FIA World Rally Championship.

Former WRC2 champion Emil Lindholm and Brazilian co-driver Gabriel Morales finished fourth for Toksport WRT. Swedish crew Mille Johansson and Johan Grönvall followed in fifth for MS Munaretto.

Estonians Patrick Enok and Silver Simm completed their home event in sixth for Printsport, while Lauri Joona and Antti Linnaketo also secured a top-10 result for TGS Worldwide.
