RENAULT CLIO RALLY RANGE CONTINUES GLOBAL SUCCESS ACROSS WRC AND NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS


The Renault Clio Rally Range continued its successful season with victories and podium finishes across the FIA World Rally Championship and several national rally championships.


CLIO RALLY5 EXTENDS WRC WINNING RECORD


The Clio Rally5 claimed its 33rd class victory in the FIA World Rally Championship at EKO Acropolis Rally Greece.


Competing on home roads, Giorgos Dodos and Nikos Intzoglou dominated their category by setting the fastest time on all 17 special stages. The Halkias Racing Team crew also secured victory among the two-wheel-drive competitors.


CLIO TROPHY CANARIAS LEADERS RETURN TO WINNING FORM


The third round of the Clio Trophy Canarias saw Noé Armas and Efrain González return to victory.


After starting the rally in sixth position, the pair moved into the lead after the fourth stage before winning by more than one minute over Walter Delgado and Alejandro Rodríguez. Julio César Yanes and Yurena Rodríguez completed the podium.


CLIO RALLY3 DOMINATES YPRES


At the Ardeca Ypres Rally, Clio Rally3 filled the entire RC3 podium.


Dominique Bruyneel and Ward Hanssens claimed victory ahead of Olivier Decoene and François Geerlandt, while Benoit Verlinde and Bert Feys completed the top three.


Clio Rally5 also secured the top three places in RC5, while the Clio Rally6 made its Belgian championship debut with a top-five finish in RC6.


SUCCESS CONTINUES ACROSS EUROPE AND SOUTH AMERICA


The Renault Clio rally cars also enjoyed strong performances elsewhere.


In Denmark, Carsten Jensen and Michael Fasterholdt guided the Clio Rally3 to overall victory at the Bundgaards Køreskole Rallysprint, while Clio Rally5 completed a class one-two finish.


In Peru, Juan Guerrero and Andrés Carpio finished second overall at Rally Piura with the Clio Rally3 after winning the opening stage. Horacio Cánepa and Ricardo Figueroa added an RC5 class victory for Clio Rally5.


Further victories followed in France, Italy, Finland, Portugal, Germany, Spain and Mexico as the Clio Rally3, Rally4 and Rally5 continued to deliver competitive results across multiple championships.
