RALLY ESTONIA WRC2: ROBERT VIRVES TARGETS BACK-TO-BACK HOME VICTORY

ŠKODA CREWS PREPARE FOR STRONG WRC2 BATTLE AS TEN FABIA RS RALLY2 CARS LINE UP IN ESTONIA

Mladá Boleslav, 15 July 2026 – Rally Estonia WRC2 is set for another competitive showdown as local driver Robert Virves and co-driver Jakko Viilo aim to secure consecutive victories on home gravel roads during the ninth round of the FIA World Rally Championship.

Driving a Toksport WRT Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, Virves arrives in Estonia chasing his third WRC2 victory of the 2026 season. The fast gravel stages around Tartu will once again provide one of the championship's quickest and most demanding challenges.

The Rally Estonia WRC2 entry features 24 competitors, with ten crews competing in Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 machinery.

Among Virves' strongest rivals are Toksport WRT teammates Emil Lindholm and Gabriel Morales, who return to gravel competition for the first time this season after three consecutive WRC asphalt rounds.

Several other Škoda crews are also targeting a strong finish in Rally Estonia WRC2. Spain's Jan Solans and Rodrigo Sanjuán will be looking for a top result, while Finland's Lauri Joona and Antti Linnaketo continue their campaign.

Fresh from victory at the Royal Rally of Scandinavia, Mikko Heikkilä and Kristian Temonen head to Estonia aiming to score valuable WRC2 championship points.

Meanwhile, defending Junior WRC champions Mille Johansson and Johan Grönvall also arrive in Tartu hoping to challenge for a podium finish in their MS Munaretto Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.
